Full Description: The estates proposed here have access to untreated yet good drinking water. Cellular telephone coverage is partial; where there is no coverage, satellite telephone and internet services can be obtained. Heating, hot water and basic cooking will be ensured through firewood. Refrigerator and impromptu cooking can be ensured through commercial bottled gas. Electric light and necessary domestic appliances require ad-hoc solutions. These will go through battery storage. The batteries will be loaded through a petrol or diesel generator and/or an eolic generator and/or hydropower and/or solar cells.

"Pichilaguna de Cayutue", also named "Carilauquen", is on the east coast of the Cayutue Bay, a fjord pointing from Isla Margarita southwards. The lagoon included in this land can be recognized on the Google Maps link on the right column. The estate has about 176 hectares with 2100 meters of coastal line on lake Todos los Santos. The coast has a succession of sandy beaches, with a large beach on the north and northeast coast, that is, on the sunny side. The *pichilaguna" or lagoon has about 10 hectares (25 acres) of surface with depths that go to 18 meters (20 yards). It is, with its own internal shore of 1000 meters, in the private domain. This land is entirely covered with primary native forest and has never been cleared by fire or subject to agricultural use, nor has it ever had any infrastructure; this is intact virgin land. There is no access by land, only over water. A motor boat takes about one half hour between Petrohue and the beaches of this place.

The Pichilaguna estate has an authorized subdivision into 10 parcels (see map on the left column). Plots 1 to 9 have areas comprised between 2.5 and 4 hectares (7 to 10 acres), each one with about 100 meters (330 feet) of lake coast. Parcel 10 has 142 ha (355 acres) and includes a lagoon of about 10 ha (25 acres). This plot of land also has direct access to the large beach on the northwest coast and to a brook suitable for micro-hydropower.
Punta de las Cruces Punta Cruces and Casa Vieja

The Punta de las Cruces estate has approximately 58 hectares of land with 1400 metres of shore on lake Todos los Santos. The larger part of this land is exposed to the north (the sunny side). The land is covered with valdivian rainforest, partly old growth and renewed since early settlement a century ago. There are (small) terraces for pasture, gardening and orchards. At one point there is a panoramic view of 270 degrees from the Osorno to the West to the Tronador in the East. There is access to a large beach and mooring at the bottom of Puerto Verde bay. There is a springwater source, which can also be used for micro-hydropower. Wind power can also be obtained.

There are no constructions on this land. It is proposed for sale jointly with the Casa Vieja (the old house) across the bay in Puerto Verde. The Casa Vieja has 5000 square meters (1.25 acres) of land exposed towards north and east. This was one of the earliest homesteads on the lake because of the convenient and pleasant situation close to the beach and safe mooring. The old family home in northern German style has been partially restored but requires further work for permanent residence. There is pressurized drinking water and the infrastructure of a micro-hydropower plant that was in use until 2005.
